Why a team of pet sitters?

Cathy's Critter Care is run as a team business.  If you need care during peak pet sitting times (holidays, summer vacation, busy weekends), we can accommodate your needs because we work together.  If your normal personal pet sitter is unavailable, another Cathy's Critter Care pet sitter will be available to provide the professional service and personal care you and your pets are accustomed to.  Your information and paperwork are already on file with our company and available to your back up pet sitter without any additional work on your part.  Should the need arise for you to receive care from a different pet sitter than you've used before, you and your pets will have the option of meeting the "new" sitter (time and schedules permitting) before your departure.  If time does not allow for a meeting, rest assured that all of our sitters are accustomed to pet introductions without the presence of their owners and are professionally trained in pet behavior.  The sitter will allow your pets to become accustomed to their presence in the home.  All pet sitters work directly for Cathy's Critter Care and are fully bonded and insured.

Accidents do happen and are unplanned!  Each Cathy's Critter Care pet sitter carries an emergency card in their wallet and in their pet first aid kit that reads:

I am a professional pet sitter solely responsible for the care of personal pets.
It is imperative that you notify
Cathy's Critter Care at
210-945-8940
in the event of my personal injury or serious accident!

If your pet sitter has an accident or serious illness, there will be no "break" in your service because we always have a backup sitter ready to care for your pets at a moments notice!   In addition to carrying the emergency card, each pet sitter calls the office from the home of each client at every visit and logs in their date and time for the visit.  If we do not get a log-in call from your pet sitter as planned for your scheduled care, we will immediately contact the pet sitter to insure their safety and the well-being of your home and pets!  This provides double insurance of continuity of care!

Cathy Vaughan leads the team of pet sitters by managing phone calls, scheduling dates and performing pet sitting visits.  Phillip Vaughan and Rochele Esper assist in all areas of management, and perform pet sitting visits.  The sole duty of all other team members is to insure the well-being of your pets and home while you are receiving care.

We hope you can see that by working as team, we can insure you the best service possible!
